The Honourable Maxie Cuffie, Minister of Public Administration and Communications paid tribute to Makandal Daaga, Founder of the National Joint Action Committee (NJAC), as he signed the condolence book today at the party’s headquarters on Duke Street, Port of Spain.
“I felt that it was important to recognize the passing of Makandal Daaga and recognize the contribution he made to the nation, especially in the 1970s along with a number of other leaders who changed the lives of so many for the better,” he said.
The Honourable Minister was greeted by Mr. Kwasi Mutema, Political Leader of NJAC and other party officials.
