Fujitsu Courtesy Call

In light of the country’s current economic circumstances, there is a need to take another look at ICT in Trinidad and Tobago to place greater emphasis on value for money.

This was the view expressed by Minister of Public Administration and Communications, the Honourable Maxie Cuffie during his meeting with Director and Corporate Executive Officer and Vice President of Fujitsu Limited, Duncan Tait.

Tait, along with his executive team met with Minister Cuffie to share their views on the country’s national ICT initiatives and Fujitsu’s role in supporting its stakeholders. This visit by Tait, who also holds the position of Head of the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) and Americas Regions to the region, represents the first by a senior executive from Fujitsu’s global operations.

He was accompanied by Head of Fujitsu Caribbean, Mervyn Eyre, Head of Managed Infrastructure Services, Jean-Paul Dookie and Vice President of Sales for the Southern Caribbean, Stephen Juteram.

The visit took place on Wednesday, February 22 2017 at the Ministry of Public Administration and Communications (MPAC).
